“Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul.”
– Luther Burbank
I’ve been seeing a lot of hellebores in blog posts. I love flowers that bloom in winter. I don’t have any in my garden at this time, something I hope to remedy soon, but I do admire them in photographs or in person. We were pleased to see beds of hellebores as we walked through the Longwood Gardens Conservatory.
I googled the flower as I wrote this post. Oh my! It would be so easy to develop a new infatuation and begin collecting one of every color they bloom in. Gorgeous!
